Potions of vitality (red) will let you get bigger without popping.
Potions of stasis (green) will stop you from getting bigger for a little while.
Counterspell ingredients (white-purple) will maybe let you make a cure? Eventually?

Alchemist Lab Game
I'm a little confused. on the weight gaming thread you say there's male growth as well, am I missing something or can you only play as a woman?
Not entirely sure what's going on, but the mesh for the character seems to be a little weird. All the different points of the skin texture on the character seem to be trying to connect to random points on the body, resulting in a glitchy, vaguely humanoid shape with random polygons going everywhere.
Hey, just wanted to say that I enjoy this game! I do agree that it could use some meters to help you know your limits. Also, I think it would be fun to see her explode, or at least an immobile ending.
I'm curious, is there a way to beat the game?
Doable. I need to think about how to light things better. The all dark rooms were a bit of an accident of random generation.
I have 2 major suggestions and 1 kinda minor one.
First of all, look at speeding up the walk speed a little bit, maybe add a sprint mechanic or something but it just feels a bit slow when backtracking through areas you already went through and found nothing.
Secondly, possibly up the spawn rate of the red and green potions, as I usually got a game over before finding 2 or 3 of either.
As for the minor suggestion, possibly add a timer/countdown or something like that to let you know how much time you have left
These could help a bit more with mitigating losing just because you went down a hallway and found nothing
Those are some good suggestions. I'm playing with spawn rates a little bit, but I'm thinking of having them do more or last longer rather than increasing the number, mostly to make finding them more joyful.
Maybe it makes sense for the dead-ends to be the only things that have potions so that it's exciting to find them. Or punch more holes in the dead-ends.
Don't know of a good way to do the countdown timer that isn't super distracting. Maybe some more audio queues and louder stretching noises.
I just feel like too many of the rooms seem to never get any drops, and it's pointless to even check them. I have had a few games that went really well where I've been able to get to the point where she complains about not being able to move very well.
I do enjoy the moving mechanic as you get bigger, though I also agree that early on, a run or sprint would be a good decision.
I would love a vitality meter that gives an idea of how much time you have left.

Head to the left side of the room. Jump on the switch, which will lower the spikes. Break the globe to recieve a hide cuirass. Equip it and head up.
There's a save point here.
Drop down from this area, and head right before moving onto the next area.
Break this blueish stream to get a leather sheild. Equip it.and head onto the next room (left and up).
When you enter this room, attack the letmost wall for a heart-up and the ground here for a life-up. Go up into the next room.
Manipulate the box and spike switches to create a raised platform. Follow the path (up and right) to eventually reach a cloth cape. Equip it.
Head back to this room, and go up and left instead. Fight the Axe Lords, and head to the left room.
Drop down from this ledge, and circle back up on the left side of the room.
There's a save point here. Continue on up.
Break this candle for an axe item. This will make the fight against Slogra and Gaibon much easier.
Attack Slogra (Green Guy) with your sword to make Gaibon pick him up. While they're airborne, use your axes to try to hit both of them.
Once you've killed Slogra, it's time to focus on Gaibon. Gaibon has a tendency to shoot fireballs. You can block these with your shield.
Do enough damage to Gaibon, and he'll turn red and shoot giant fireballs. These can also be blocked with the shield.
If Slogra lands on the ground, he's about to shoot a huge succession of fireballs. Crouch right next to him and slash away with your sword. You won't get hit.
After you kill Gaibon, you'll get a life-up. Head right.
Go through this room. You'll eventually reach an elevator. Ride the elevator down.
The middle stop is a room that contains Sunglasses. Equip them and continue going down.
Alchemy Laboratory Game
The bottom stop contains a room with a cannon. Attack the lever, which will break the wall and allow you to pick up the Basilard. I don't recommend using it, it's attack range is very poor. Go all the way back up the elevator and into the room with the bloody zombie.
This room contains a save point. Keep going up until you get to the highest doorway.
'This hallway is a good place to learn your first spell: Dark Metamorphosis.
Old Alchemy Game
